Meet the owner’s of the Lucky Leprechaun- George Migliero (aka G-Migg’s), Kevin McGrath II, & Mike McGrath!

George is a well known and beloved Iowan restaurant and bar owner, who owns G-Migg’s in West Des Moines. Kevin and Mike are Irish brothers who are 2nd generation IA State Fair food concessionaires.

After becoming friends while working side by side many years ago at the IA State Fair, George, Kevin, and Mike were looking for an opportunity to bring the patrons of the ISF together for something fun and unique. George has won awards for his food menu creations at the fair - in particular for The Pride of Iowa wrap. Kevin and Mike’s business, The Best Around, has won awards in their locations on the triangle at the fair. They’ve brought Iowans favorites like Cajun Chicken on a Stick, and are popular for their unique Funnel Cake creations. George and the brothers decided to combine their award winning bravado and expertise together with their love of all things Irish to create- The Lucky Leprechaun!

The Lucky Leprechaun is a pub designed to experience shenanigans and the lilt of Irish laughter at the Iowa State Fair.
